I'm Jaakko, a full stack developer and AI engineer based in Tampere, Finland. I started writing code at 12, driven by the simple thrill of making something appear on screen from nothing. That thrill never left — it just found bigger problems.

Today I design and build complete digital products: from backend architecture and databases to interfaces people actually enjoy using, and increasingly, the AI systems that make those products smarter. I care about the details most people skip — the 200ms that makes an interaction feel instant, the copy that makes a form less confusing, the empty state that quietly guides instead of apologizing.

I run Maatix, a small studio where I partner directly with founders and teams who want their product to look and feel deliberate.
